Warranty Policy

Terms of Limited Warranty on Tyres:

All tyres sold within the website of DialATire.com have the benefit of a limited warranty from the manufacturer of the tyres. All tyre manufacturers provide a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of one year, and all warranty decisions shall be made by the manufacturer’s agents or representatives in the area in which the tyres were purchased. The applicable warranty terms and conditions are maintained and revised by the manufacturer’s agents or representatives on their official websites.

This warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

In addition, any customer installing an incorrect tyre size, that is not approved/recommended by the car manufacturer, will not be the responsibility of DialATire.com. The risk of using incorrect tyre is assumed by the customer.

Procedure for Claiming Tyre Limited Warranty:

In order to make a claim on a tyre limited warranty, customers must have the invoice of the original purchase, received by them via email at the time of purchase.

All tyres being claimed will be inspected by an authorized representative of the manufacturer, and that inspection typically takes approximately 2-3 weeks.

The decision regarding the claim will be made exclusively by the authorized representative of the manufacturer as the result of the inspection process.

During the inspection period, customers may need to purchase new tyres out of their own funds.

If the claim is approved, compensation will be calculated based on the remaining tread life or percentage of tyre life at the time of inspection.

Exclusions for Warranty Claims

Warranty Claims will not be granted for coverage under the following circumstances:

  • Tyres, tubes or flaps damaged as a result of improper usage, handling, or storage.
  • Tyres that have exhausted their original tread life or are worn out.
  • Tyres repaired, retreaded, reconditioned or altered in any way.
  • Tyres that are not the correct size, load index, and specifications recommended for use on that vehicle.
  • Tyre damage arising from poor vehicle condition or maintenance including misalignment, wheel imbalance, defective suspension, defective brakes, or improper tyre rotation.
  • Failure as a result of improper inflation pressure, overload, neglect, or exposure to oil, chemical, or fire.
  • Damage to the tyre instigated by competition, off road driving, accidents and/or collision, to include cases where tyres were run flat.
  • Failure as a result of improper repair methods or repair materials.
  • Tyres subjected to road hazards such as shearing, punctures, impact breaks, bruises or the equivalent of stone drilling.
  • Any other failure resulting from misuse, neglect, or leaving care and/or maintenance guidelines recommended by the manufacturer.

Car Battery Warranty Policy:

Batteries purchased from Dial-A-Tire are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless the invoice states a different period; if this is the case, the extended warranty period will be shown on the invoice in parentheses.

If your battery fails under warranty during this period, it must be returned to your nearest Dial-A-Tire location or drop-off point to undergo inspection and processing. Please note that Dial-A-Tire will not reimburse you for the shipping or transportation of the battery back to us.

In order for the warranty to be considered, the battery must be returned in good physical condition, equipped with all manufacturer labels, and filled with electrolyte, in order for inspection and verification of what caused the failure.

If our inspection and verification result in warranty approval, the credit or replacement will be authorized to the customer on a pro-rata or prorated standard based upon the elapsed time and usage of the interest.
